Remove milk odor

Removing milk odor in carpet  (vehicles or homes) without using masking perfumes

This technique is very cost effective and you can access my technique and formulas by clicking here

Hi Its Ken The Odor Guy here and I am a fulltime odor remover.

Milk spilt in a vehicle or inside the home can be challenging to remove if is left to mature

Rotten milk in carpet and furniture when it is left to age is challenging to remove and really honks. No matter how many deodorizers or miracle odor remover products you spray on the floor or into the carpet the smell always comes back. We have helped many hundreds of people over the years by physically removing the odor from their carpets with our formulation and techniques described here.

Since 2000 I have devised a unique system for removing rotten milk odor from carpet and vehicles (car carpet) that works well and anybody can do it. It does NOT mean just spraying a bit of perfume around as this will do nothing.

In fact the system I use does not use any deodorisers or perfume at all

Why is milk odor so hard to get rid of?

Well that is easy to answer as the component that creates the milk odor smell contains one of the hardest organic items for any professional odor remover to remove and that is “OIL”. Fats and residues in milk remain in the carpet for a very long period and continue to attract bacteria and in turn odor. Couple that with minimum oxygen exposure (if under a mat etc) and you have a cheese factory!!

How to get rid of rotten milk odor

This is all you need……

Formula two
Rubber gloves
Dry towels or wet vacuum  machine (prefrerred but not necessary)

The first step is  locate the actual contaminations in the carpet or vehicle. The next step is to ascertain the depth of the substrate you are treating to ascertain how much product you need to make using my unique formulation

For example I recently did a BMW with rotten milk odor in the carpet and because BMW’s have good soundproofing it meant the milk had soaked into 45 mm of carpet and soundproofing and to make it worse the area was covered up with a footmat. Four quarts of milk was left under the seat unknowingly by the owners before they left for a 3 month vacation and over summer. The car was in their garage and the milk container split overtime spilling the whole lot into the floor

It took me an hour however it worked 100% and the owner was thrilled.

So hopefully that has helped you and I advise you to try my formulation and techniques here

Here is another example of a car carpet being removed and treated. The technique I use does not require removing the carpet but this carpet was bought to me as a separate item to remove the milk. Note the foaming as Formula two is working on the breakling down the rotten milk components
