Cat Urine Smells Removal Technique and Formulation
Thankyou for accessing my information and I can promise you the results you will achieve will outstand you.
Craig is going to run us through the formulation and techniques in the video below but first we suggest you read the page and get an understanding on how the formula works
You can contact me here with any query or question regarding the formulation or the way to apply it
There are two formulas
Formula One is for recent urine i.e 2-3 days old
Formula two is for old urine
*You can use the formulations on carpet, clothing, leather, vehicle upholstery and carpet, concrete, wood, but we always advise to spot test first overnight as fabrics, substrates are variable around the world
So lets get started
Formula One (new urine)
1. Hydrogen Peroxide 3% active
2. Sodium Bi-carbonate(sodium carbonate or baking soda is fine)
3. Rubber gloves
4. Dry towels or wet vacuum machine (preferred but not necessary)
Put on rubber gloves and eye protection.
Wear eye protection and protective gloves. The formulation is slightly irritating to skin and very irritating to eyes if you splash yourself so we advise you take care and use common sense when using the product to avoid any accidents or issues. You can never have too much precaution when handling any chemical.
DO NOT STORE Mixed product as the container will swell and leak
DO NOT GET IT IN YOUR EYES as this could lead to permanent damage
Always mix in an open top container such as a kitchen mixing jug or a bucket
Try to avoid skin contact as you will experience a stinging sensation if you get the formula on your hands and this can last for over 5 minutes but will slowly dissappear
Always spot test first. Read Disclaimer first
How to mix it
Pour out 1 cup of 3% peroxide and add 2 teaspoons of baking soda and mix well.
Tip this product onto the urine contamination and leave for 5 minutes. Then absorb residues with paper towels or old bath towels. (Always test spot on carpet)
This formula will totally destroy the urine in seconds and you will never get any odor issues in the future. It is full proof system
Formula two (old urine)
1. Hydrogen Peroxide 3% active
2. Sodium Bi-carbonate(sodium carbonate or baking soda is fine)
3. Rubber gloves
4. Dry towels or wet vacuum machine (preferred but not necessary)
5. Disinfectant (Supermarket product is fine as long as the active ingredient is Alkyl Dimethyl Ammonium Chloride at 1% or less) Also known as Benzalkonium Chloride.
6. Vinegar (White is best)
How to use the formulation
Wear eye protection and protective gloves. The formulation is safe however we advise you take care and use common sense when using to avoid any accidents or issues. You can never have too much precaution when handling any chemical.

Treating Old cat Urine
Step 1
In an open top container pour in 1 cup of 3% Hydrogen Peroxide product in and depending on how big an area you are treating will determine how much product you use. Generally speaking I find 1 cup is enough for a recent small cat urine bladder dump where as 4 cups may be required for treating a severe cat urine bladder dump as you will need to repeat it a few times to combate the old urien components. Quantity will vary when you are pouring onto rough concrete versus smooth concrete and so on. Carpet sucks the product up where as tiles do not
Step 2
Mix into the peroxide Sodium Bi-Carbonate at a rate of 2 teaspoons per cup (so into 4 cups of peroxide you woud add 8 teaspoons of Sodium carbonate (Baking Soda). Add 2 tablesppons of white vinegar to 1 cup of peroxide mixture (it will fizz up) and then add two table spoons of disinfectant per cup of peroxide.. Pour the product onto the contaminated area. You will notice foaming occurs when the product comes into contact with the contamination. This is normal. The foaming means the product is working. When the foaming stops the product has burnt itself out and will either need another application if odor persists or just leave it to dry by absorbing excess moisture with a towel or extract using a wet vac
Tips
1. You must know where the urine contamination is. This sounds basic however 40% of our enquiries usually start with “How do I find the areas that are creating the smell?”
To evaluate where the smell is coming from you have four options.
1. Get onto your knees and smell the floor physically in the obvious areas
2. Look for staining or obvious signs of contaminations then smell those
3. Spray the area with formula one and look for any obvious foaming which will indicate a contamination
4. Place another cat in the room and watch where it goes to. Usually cats go straight to the odor contaminations in just minutes
